I’ve read enough writing craft books, articles and posts to know that many suggest your writing should be done consistently in a place that allows the author to focus and provides few if any distractions. That being said, I’ve seen plenty of people hammering away at their laptop (mostly before Covid-19) in a coffee shop. Some of the YouTube videos I’ve watched also suggest a certain amount of fluidity regarding writing space. Enough that it’s made me curious.

    I used to write at a coffee shop before Covid. Did it for almost four months consistently. It was really a wonderful experience.
